OCIA is a beautiful and important journey for adults who are seeking to enter into the Catholic Church or grow deeper in their faith. It is not just a class—it is a process of conversion, formation, and encounter with Jesus Christ.
OCIA invites individuals to build a personal relationship with Jesus. Through Scripture, prayer, and reflection, participants come to know Christ more deeply and experience His love and mercy.
Participants learn the teachings of the Church—what we believe, how we worship, and how we are called to live. This includes understanding the Mass, the Sacraments, Scripture, and Catholic moral life.
OCIA prepares individuals to receive the Sacraments of Initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. These Sacraments bring a person fully into the life of the Church and into communion with Christ.
OCIA is not only about learning—it is about transformation. Participants are invited to reflect on their lives, grow in holiness, and turn more fully toward God.
Those in OCIA are welcomed into the parish family. They are supported by sponsors, catechists, and the entire community as they walk this journey of faith together.
OCIA is not the end—it is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith. After receiving the Sacraments, individuals continue to grow through prayer, service, and participation in the life of the Church.
If you are feeling called to learn more about the Catholic faith or complete your Sacraments, know that this invitation is from God. Take that step—you are welcome here.
